This one day course meets HSE legal requirements for the workplace, should your risk suggest it appropriate to hold an Emergency First Aid at Work qualification. This one day course is also suitable for anyone wishing to learn the essential life saving skills of First Aid for everyday life.
Who is this course for?
This course is a requirement for when the First Aid Risk Assessment has deemed it appropriate.
Emergency First Aid at work is also ideal for anyone wishing to learn the basic essentials of a truly life saving subject.
Health & Safety Executive First Aid Law
The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. These Regulations apply to all workplaces including those with less than five employees and to the self-employed.
In the event of sudden illness or injury, failure to provide first aid could result in death. If you are an employer you should ensure that an employee who is injured or taken ill at work receives immediate First Aid attention.
HSE will prosecute in cases where there is a significant risk, a disregard for established standards or persistent poor compliance with the law.

9.30 – 16.30 each day
Qualification for the Emergency First Aid at work Course is achieved through ongoing assessment and is a nationally recognised qualification.
Qualification (Valid for 3 years)
The maximum number of students on this course is 12.
